Accounting Clarity, LLC, is a New Orleans-based CPA practice rooted in the belief that financial services should be accessible, humane, and empowering. It is owned and operated by Alayna Hoffman, CPA. We serve small businesses, nonprofits, and individuals across the New Orleans community and beyond.

Alayna has two bachelor’s degrees in addition to her CPA license: English Literature and Accounting. The mix of communication and technical expertise uniquely qualifies her to serve individuals and entities who desire a clear understanding of their financial health without bogging them down with unnecessary technical jargon.

Her work experience includes roles as Finance Director for several nonprofit and industry organizations. In her work, she focuses on demystifying finances, so that individuals and organizations understand their positions and can make informed decisions. She also has deep experience with workflows, efficiencies and training. Her skills enable her to offer services from basic bookkeeping and payroll to preparing and analyzing financial statements.

Furthermore, she has extensive experience leveraging her skills in the volunteer sector. In the past, she has served for Treasurer for several nonprofit organizations such as St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Uptown New Orleans. She works hard to help nonprofits create financial systems and processes that lead to growth and development.

Outside of the office, Alayna enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and writing poetry. She is married, has one child and numerous pets.
